Are you intentionally trying to misrepresent the 'less-RC' process? We just spend 2 months testing the new features and other issues for this release! 'less-RC' is all about testing BEFORE an RC is published. I cut the RC only after asking the entire community - and you by name - if there were any remaining issues. None were reported, so, in accordance with the new process I cut the RC. And only then did you really test it, apparently :-( I have cancelled the RC, as it will never be released. We're now back in the pre-RC phase, with a nightly build of the release artifacts available for any and all testing.
