Personally, I would see a lot of value to re-engineering the MXML components we're familiar with using Angular Directives or custom Polymer tags, then make the other services, such as data binding, HTTP services, etc., additional libraries that can be included as needed using Bower or something similar. We could also potentially provide a suite of mixins for LESS and SASS to enhance styling productivity of the UI components. Just a thought...
