Here is a commit email [1].  Below is the relevant part.  It shows you
changing “utilize” to “utilise”.  I’m not sure how you can claim I started
something by committing a change of spelling to US English.  In fact, my
response [2] was to re-word to avoid the use of utilize entirely to try to
prevent a discussion like this.
