Yes, Judah attempted to place his code under AL but it was his first foray into Apache licensing and it wasn't complete. It seemed to me it would be faster to just donate a tag in his repo and fix all of that up in the prep for IP Clearance instead of me or others trying to IP-clear his repo, especially given his time constraints. Again, I have helped him as much as I possibly could, and I believe the branch can be prepped for clearance. And again, I think we should be thankful for the effort he has put in so far, and save the challenges for IP clearance on the incubator list. I don't know if this was in the video from the Flex Summit, but Roy Fielding (one of the Apache Founders) was giving an overview of Apache and said that contributing to a project should be more like going to a party than going to work. My takeaway is that if you host a potluck and when folks bring dishes you greet them at the door with a fork and poke and prod for illegal substances, folks will not want to attend any more of your parties. Apache does care about provenance so we do have to check, but the incubator is the back room where we can do the poking and prodding. Let's just thank Judah for bringing a dish. And remember, I did look over his recipe and had him take out some stuff already. -Alex
