Keep in mind that the maven build I am running is only running the "modules" part of the entire suite as this is built by maven and contains the heart of BlazeDS (All libs and the testsuite fort he core libraries). The surrounding stuff seemed completely outdated and more like a testsuite for coldfusion support that needs a very special setup.

The build is running niceley without a single compile error. The only problems there are are that 2 AMF related tests seem to be failling, but here I know why (both are client tests that require a server running) but I thought I had fixed that a few months ago (05.05.2014) eventually there are some restrictions preventing the server side to start in time on the Apache build machine :-| So I wouldn't say that I didn't take any care to setup BlazeDS. Now if all that is missing, is a little README then for heavens sake ... what should it contain? Is there a template I can use? Personally I think we on very thin ice publishing stuff on Apache hardware which is publicly available without any license information. While a nightly build or snapshot is not an official release that doesn't mean a little care shouldn't be taken - we have compile errors, possible (minor) IP issues and missing license and it's not been tested Re 3rd party files and shapshops please see [1].
