As I understand it, asm.js is a subset of JavaScript, use in such a way that, with added browser support, it allows for near native performance.
For FlexJS we currently use a superset of JavaScript, the Google Closure Tools, because these allow us to approximate Actionscript very closely in a browser environment, making the translation from AS to JS that much easier. Going from a superset to a subset won't be easy. It will require lots of changes to the FalconJX compiler. Unless you contribute such an approach to the project, I don't think the current team working on FlexJS will have the resources to make such a bold move into uncharted territory ;-) EdB On Thursday, May 29, 2014, pesgaio <pesg...@logiberica.com> wrote: > Could anyone tell me if there's going to be a amf.js available in FlexJS? > > Thanks > > > > -- > View this message in context: > http://apache-flex-development.2333347.n4.nabble.com/FlexJS-AMF-support-tp36013p37883.html > Sent from the Apache Flex Development mailing list archive at Nabble.com. > -- Ix Multimedia Software Jan Luykenstraat 27 3521 VB Utrecht T. 06-51952295 I. www.ixsoftware.nl
