Testing RC6:

Configuration: Window 7, 64bit, FR

Test #1: Install FlexJS nightly with AIR 3.9/FP11.9, installer locale=FR,
download cache enabled
Results: OK
- guava caching passes ( escaped dir is created in download cache dir
remotecontent%3Ffilepath%3Dcom).
=> So previous issue in RC4 is fixed! Thanks Alex.

- some messages in the progress bar are not localized ( eg. Downloading ...), I
guess this is because FlexJS installer script is not localized yet:

Test #2: Install FlexJS nightly AIR 3.9 locale=ES, caching enabled:
Results: KO
- Minor: some messages in the UI are not localized in ES : "Select versions",
"Anonymous statistics ...":

- Blocker: List of components in the "licence agreements" is not the good ones :
EN list (OK): https://www.dropbox.com/s/iigugjjjchm7w7i/flexJS_complist_EN.png
ES list (KO): https://www.dropbox.com/s/wsonydx1ju3skkk/flexJS_complist_ES.png

Test #3: testing installation with directories that include spaces:
Cache dir: D:\Temp\flex installer cache
Install dir: D:\Temp\flex install\SDK 412 and D:\Temp\flex install\FlexJS Try

Test #4: Install SDK 4.12 RC4 / AIR 3.9 and check in IDE:
Results : OK
Compiled and run medium-sized web app with Intellij 13: OK
Compile and run on ADL medium-sized mobile app with IntelliJ 13.0: OK

Objet : [DISCUSS] Discuss Release Apache Flex SDK Installer 3.0 - RC6

This is the discussion thread.

This RC contains a change to the naming scheme of files in the cache.
File names are now escaped because the URL could contain characters not
supported by, for example, Windows. This means that on your first run of RC6,
you may see an unexpected cache miss or what appears to be a duplicate cache
entry, mainly because some punctuation character in the nativePath of the
cached file is now escaped.
