Hi Rami, If you can get the 4.12 SDK nightly, iOS7 status bar is managed automatically.
If you can't: Regarding your code below, it does not work because everything happens in the skin (ViewNavigatorApplicationSkin), so it's there where you should shift your view. So make a custom skin, and shift the content (navigator skinPart).
