All I can say is that from my perspective (from scanning commit emails), the RELEASE_NOTES are constantly being fiddled with so I don't know when you think they are truly ready for review and are going to go through the hassle of packaging and signing. The email on the 5th to me says "anybody want to get any other work in before the release?" not "OK, I'm going to start packaging and signing.". Giving us 24 hours to react to the latter might save you time and energy in the end. PS: Still trying to get set up so haven't looked at release notes yet. -Alex
