Text based mails are extremely hard to use when the discussion is about
layouts, visuals, interactions, etc.

If the online meetings (connect, google hangout etc.) are set up and are
announced on this list, that should be sufficient, right?  Also, these
meetings can be recorded and they can be posted back on the dev list.
