In the flex-utilities/common/org/apache/flex/utilities/common/Tools.getApplicationExtension() method, a new entry for .deb must be returned if Linux is detected.
The Capabilities.os hopefully returns a string that tells you it is 'Linux' or something like that. I dont have a linux box for me to test this with.
