It seems I need to include the initial members and vice president name in the vote email.
Based on previous discussion, I think it might be best if we take all those initial PPMC members to be our PMC members if no one objects. And add our new PPMC members during incubation in the PMC member list and current committers to be committers of Apache ECharts. So the full list of initial members would be: (email in alphabetical order) c...@apache.org Jaska clemmakesa...@apache.org Clement Ho d...@apache.org Houjin Huang deqin...@apache.org Deqing Li dexter...@apache.org Jian Cui error...@apache.org Rui Dong ke...@apache.org Feng Lin san...@apache.org Tianjiao Han she...@apache.org Yi Shen sushu...@apache.org Shuang Su susiw...@apache.org Siwen Su ovi...@apache.org Wenli Zhang wan...@apache.org Junting Wang wan...@apache.org Zhongxiang Wang yi...@apache.org Huang Yixiu yufen...@apache.org Feng Yu za...@apache.org Zak Wu More information on the vice president (chair of the project) from [1]: > PMC Chairs - who are VPs - serve as normal PMC members, with one vote on project matters just like other PMC members. The primary duty of a PMC chair is providing quarterly reports to the board about the health and status of their project. PMC chairs are expected to subscribe to the board@ mailing list, and be aware of any board concerns about the project, and are responsible for working with the PMC as a whole to address any board concerns. As for vice president candidate, I would like to be a volunteer. During incubation, I have been helping the community to grow and push things forward. And I have been writing incubation report since then. I would like to continue contributing and engaging other ones to get involved and help build Apache ECharts a better community. Please checkout [1] [2] to know more about PMC and PMC Chairs and you are welcomed to take part in this discussion so that we can start our vote soon.
