Congratulations on your new role, Abhishek, and good luck! Gian, Thank you for your years of leadership and service in Druid. You steered the project through Apache incubation to the current stage where there are regular releases and multiple active committers and PMC members. It is indeed a great sign of project maturity that you can hand over the reins.
I myself am a former PMC chair of an Apache project, and I can assure you that you will have a little more time to focus on Druid’s priorities, and you will enjoy seeing a succession of good people step up, take the reins, and lead the project in interesting directions.
