I am curious why you haven't tried to use http://compiler-rt.llvm.org/, if there is a reason, instead of GCC's libraries. I would ask the similar question against https://llvm.org/docs/Proposals/LLVMLibC.html Hence https://llvm.org/docs/Proposals/LLVMLibC.html .
