First of all, I support this proposal. I actually proposed a similar incentive
mechanism called Active Contributor about a year ago. However, I must clarify
that the material and monetary rewards mentioned in the proposal should come
from vendors, not the community itself.
I suggest we create a wiki page to document the final implementation plan—but
it should exclude the material reward section.

Following is the summary of this proposal:

The **Doris Community Hero Program** is an initiative to recognize and support
contributors who help grow the Doris open-source community. Here's what you
need to know:

* Why Join: Gain exclusive benefits, boost your personal brand, and grow with a
vibrant tech community.
* Member Benefits:

  * Private discussion group for technical exchange (e.g., Doris x AI)
  * Official support to build your personal brand
  * Invite-only offline networking events
  * Official Hero certificate for active contributors
  * Regular expert sessions and content sharing

* Monthly Interviews: Heroes will be featured in interviews to showcase their
stories and insights.
* Quarterly Rewards:

  * Top 10 contributors receive gift cards (¥200–¥2000) and badges.

* Annual MVP Recognition:

  Top contributors get highlighted at the official Doris conference and connect
with PMC/core members.

* How to Join: Contribute via:

  * Technical talks (10 Hero points)
  * Articles or videos (6–10 points)
  * Community support (6–10 points)
  * Code contributions (evaluated separately)
