Hi all,

We've sent out a couple emails to the PMCs mailing lists about the
upcoming Outreachy round. That email was also sent to this list which
is archived here:
https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/r2bc70e1de5903ed8d841af2265be78c566265165351a0d4c848dbb83%40%3Cdev.diversity.apache.org%3E

We currently have 12 more days for project proposals and initial
mentors. As of today, we have zero projects submitted. While there is
still time, this is worrisome. Katia and I have discussed many times
in our regular D&I Outreachy meetings about how we could try to
recruit projects to join this effort, especially since we are able to
handle more internships than in the previous rounds.

Can we get some ideas and actions on how to spread the word? I will
note that I am not a communications expert, nor am I particularly fond
of Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other Pachinko machine media
optimized for "engagement", so I'm really working in the dark here.
With over 350 different projects going on around here, I had initially
assumed that the law of large numbers would be on our side, but that
doesn't appear to be the case.
