Hi @dkulp , They are JSONProviderTest.testWriteNullValueAsString JSONProviderTest.testWriteNullValueAsNull Both are disabled with java9 currently, and that's the reason why I leave CXF-7520 still open. I think it's a jdk issue and reported here[1] as it's caused by jdk jaxb impl change, but JDK team don't think this is something they wanna fix, add direct the customized escapehandling solution.
