Hi Daniel,
myself and my colleague Maria, plan on representing the Apache Camel
and Syndesis communities at FOSDEM. We applied and were approved for
"Integration Process Community" stand.
Do you think this is in conflict with the ASF stand at FOSDEM?
In my personal opinion, not at all, the more the merrier.
We apply for a general ASF table to be able to showcase both the
projects and the foundation as a whole, as it gives us a greater chance
of getting the stand accepted. If projects can come together in some
other fashion and get a stand, that is fine - ASF is the steward of the
projects, but we don't own the communities. Our goal at FOSDEM is to
spread our message as far and wide, and having two tables that are
related to ASF is even better, I'd say. I wish we could have three! :D.
If you need Apache Camel swag/stickers, you can pick 'em up at the ASF
table, I'm sure we'll have lots of that.

Hi folks,
just a short note that we've been approved for a stand at FOSDEM,
February 1+2 2020 in Brussels. We'll get started on the practical bits
and bobs soon enough, this is just a little celebratory message :)
With regards,
Daniel.
