Dear all,

The event was super hit, the people from the Institute said that it
was the first time they hosted an event like this.
The college and the participants appreciated the event very much and
requested us to conduct this type of event in the future as well.
The Head of Computer Science Department said, they are willing to
dedicate an entire computer lab to ALC Indore, and would like to
reserve it for us so that we can have such type of events more
frequently :)

Here are the highlights from the event -

-- 150+ Students participated in the event and attended the session on
'Open Source and The Apache Way'.
-- The duration for session was 1 hour 30 minutes including the
interaction with the audience.
-- The mentors from ALC Indore team worked with 8 students for the
whole day and helped them to make their first real contribution
(patch) to the Apache project.
-- Surpassing our expectations, *6 students* made their first
contribution to Apache projects (OFBiz and Roller).
