Hi,

I have to confess that I would like to see the ASF pages available in
different languages.
This means that we should have an authoring team that can work on a multi
language website and, if we want to look far, a multisite environment.

We all know that for achieving this we should have a CMS system and I
perfectly know what it means in terms of effort for the infrastructure team
and for the eventual authoring team itself that should include at least a
person for each language.

But considering the technology problem, I'm wondering if CrafterCMS [1] can
help us for this because it is a Git-based CMS and it is also Open Source :)

The architecture of CrafterCMS consists of two layers: an authoring app
named Crafter Studio (based on Angular with contents stored in a Git repo)
and a delivery node (based on Spring MVC and Apache Solr).

I think that it is based on a very smart architecture and if you want I can
work on an internal PoC to understand if it can fit with our needs.

Cheers,
PJ
