Image size / relative dimensions are vital from the point of view of
not affecting page layouts.

So one solution might be to have generic images for each size. i.e. two images.
These would not need changing unless the ASF logo changed.

Alternatively just have EU and US images (4 images); the appropriate
set would need copying to the 'current' images a couple of times a
year.

However the best would be to have different images for each specific conference.
These would also need copying a couple of times a year, but would also
need to be created sufficiently in advance.
