Hello Romain, I've looked at the RC.
- Signs and hashes are good - builds find with maven 3.2.5 and Java 6 and 7, although the build of the core takes forever... The build fails with Java 8 (I've run mvn clean verify). It looks like it's trying to create the JavaDocs but that fails because of doclint. Building with Java 8 should work IMHO. - I'm unable to build the site on my machine. Where can I find project reports for the modules on the staging site? - If this is a beta, why is there a maven staging repo? If you're planning to release to maven central, then the next release will have to be binary compatible. And in this case this can be 2.0. - The issue with the NOTICE file is complicated. I think I would really feel better if that could be corrected. +0 For a new RC I'd like to have the Java 8 build and the NOTICE file fixed.
