I agree with James, Jenkins is a great choice for such tasks.

That's what I do when I want to test a project with a different JVM, but have 
no time to set up Jenkins jobs.

$ export JAVA_HOME=/opt/java/ibm...
$ mvn clean test install

Just my 0.02 cents :-)
