Yes, I dropped $Date$ and kept only $Revision$ as the revision is
shorter and sufficient to identify the file uniquely; the other fields
are derivable from it.

$Id$ is much better than using $Date$ but I don't see much point to
the date (or last changed author).

An old file is not necessarily out of date, and a recent file is not
necessarily up to date.

No point in reverting again, but consider for future - $Revision$ is
shorter when expanded.
