This is like optimizing code ;) don't do it unless you measure that what you have now is a problem. I would not find seeing some apache graphical branding but that's it. I find the Google example and it's mix of font sizes ugly as sin. It's all subjective of course. This could end up a discussion about where to put curly braces...
