Pointing this out is great. Whatever the pool developers decide, then
they do it knowing what Lang has done and knowing a possible
consequence of their decision. I'm all for taking part in the
discussion and giving opinions and pointing out what other components
have done. Thats all good stuff.

By the time theres a pool 3 it may be irrelevant. Who knows what Maven
will be like, or even if it will be the build system of choice for
pool. So it may be doing something in anticipation of a situation that
never occurs. Even if it does I doubt the users of pool will have much
difficulty in understanding the situation.

Thats not what I'm saying. This is a pool discussion, which I've never
contributed to and I'm butting in. As I said before thats a good
thing. But theres a big difference between taking part in a discussion
and trying to impose rules/requirements at a Commons level.
