Hello, I just configured everything for Nexus and successfully created a snapshot: https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/snapshots/org/apache/commons/commons-compress/1.1-SNAPSHOT/
The how to i followed: http://wiki.apache.org/commons/UsingNexus is very good, no objections. I did it with signing the artifacts. This resulted in signed .asc files like in the other release procedure as expected and I deleted the unnecessary asc.md5 etc files I would go ahead with the 1.1 release and create the SVN tag the next days, check this one out and create a staging release. So far Nexus is a real charme :-) Does it distribute the artifacts to the dist folders also?
