Xunlong, Note that as far as I know, only Apache committers can be GSoC mentors for the ASF org. I have clarified with the GSoC admins for the ASF and there are a few mentors who offer to mentor more than one proposal. After some thought, I have currently volunteered to mentor your proposal in addition to Jake's proposal as well (that is not the same as the proposal being accepted, I don't decide who gets accepted). You don't need to look for another mentor, though if any of the Commons committers want to help, we will gladly add them as co-mentors.
I would recommend that any discussion about your project be had on this mailing list (or if it really needs to be private, send to priv...@commons.a.o). I am seeing a bunch of stuff for the first time below, and some of it seems misguided to me.
