Hi.
I am very interested in contributing to the commons-lang project, but would
like to know the state of it. I've seen several posts in JIRA and in the
developer mailing list about LangTwo and moving to Java 5.0 for version 3.0.
The projects I work on for my company have either moved to Java 6.0, or in
the case of one of them, are migrating to Java 5.0. In any case, one of the
reasons we do not utilize commons-lang is its lack of Generics. I believe
the project is highly useful and would be greatly improved with Java 5.0
Generics, varargs, and annotations, but the developer site still mentions
targeting 1.2. Has anything been ratified about the use of Java 5.0? I don't
see many commits to svn. Is commons-lang still being maintained or improved?
I've read mention of a LangTwo branch in the repository, but I couldn't find
it. Does this branch still exist? I would love to help contribute to bring
the project up to Java 5.0 if this is indeed the path.

Any information at all would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

-Michael
