Mark, I think the appropriate question is whether any committers are _able_ to help. I imagine that at least 80% of Commons committers are _willing_ to help with at least 80% of Commons components. So there's a good chance, if you laid it out on a matrix, that a given committer is willing to help with a given component (actually that'd be an interesting matrix to create). At the same time, as I'm sure you're aware, the committer in question has myriad responsibilities outside of OSS, then "commitments" within the ASF and possibly other OSS communities/projects. So it can be hard to find that extra bit of time to invest in one more responsibility. I don't think I'm telling you anything you don't know, because you've certainly seemed respectful thus far. Anyway, the situation I've described applies precisely for me in this instance; I actually have looked at your patches, but simply have not had the time to do more than that. You should indeed feel free to nag the list periodically in case someone has had some time open up and forgot that they wanted to look into [launcher] issues. In the meantime I hope you'll interpret the lack of activity for what it is: a symptom of lack of availability, rather than of apathy.
