Mark, I think the appropriate question is whether any
committers are _able_ to help. I imagine that at
least 80% of Commons committers are _willing_ to help
with at least 80% of Commons components. So there's a
good chance, if you laid it out on a matrix, that a
given committer is willing to help with a given
component (actually that'd be an interesting matrix to
create). At the same time, as I'm sure you're aware,
the committer in question has myriad responsibilities
outside of OSS, then "commitments" within the ASF and
possibly other OSS communities/projects. So it can be
hard to find that extra bit of time to invest in one
more responsibility. I don't think I'm telling you
anything you don't know, because you've certainly
seemed respectful thus far. Anyway, the situation
I've described applies precisely for me in this
instance; I actually have looked at your patches, but
simply have not had the time to do more than that.
You should indeed feel free to nag the list
periodically in case someone has had some time open up
and forgot that they wanted to look into [launcher]
issues. In the meantime I hope you'll interpret the
lack of activity for what it is: a symptom of lack of
availability, rather than of apathy.

Regards,
Matt
