Who could have anticipated what a difficult question
that would be to answer? And I have seen enough of
the nightmare ASF projects have had wrt TCKs etc. that
I was obviously lax in this regard. Most documents
seem to direct to http://jaxp.dev.java.net which
points to a CDDL license. Additionally XML Commons
distributes an ASLv2.0 jaxp spec. In any event,
Apache Xalan implements the same spec (or, more
specifically, portion
thereof)--javax.xml.xpath--implemented by the
contribution under consideration, so the short-term
answer is "something compatible." I will continue to
pursue the most specific answer I can get.
