We've used the following scripts to remove the trailing white spaces and
leading tabs:
Tabs to 4 white spaces:
find . -iname '*.js' -type f -exec sed -i '' 's/\t/ /' {} \+
Remove trailing white spaces:
find . -iname '*.js' -type f -exec sed -i '' 's/[[:space:]]\{1,\}$//' {} \+
