It seems that nasty popup is coming from this particular version libssl 1.0.1e-2+deb7u6 If I use libssl 1.0.1e-2+deb7u5 the popup is gone, this also fixes the vulnerability. Ref: https://gist.github.com/jacksoncage/10104261 >
