Thanks, John I am mainly curious about this use case because of work I did on 4.4 to support root disks for managed storage (just on XenServer for 4.4.).
It appears I need to make a small tweak to 4.4 code in the managed-storage area for this cleanup to completely work (the SR that was auto created for the volume that's deleted needs to be removed from the applicable XenServer cluster).
