Interesting, I like the installer idea although wonder if someone with the requisite skills to manage a cloud will need an msi!
I do all my development on windows, so there is nothing major stopping this. I wonder if this could be a useful project to aid in the refactoring of the code, even if just the startup code. Something to think about. I'd be interested to look into performance comparisons between Java on windows and Linux.
