Hi, Can you check if you have set storage tags on the service offering instead of the host tags? You can call listServiceOfferings API and check the response corresponding to your service offering. The field ' hosttags' is set or is the field ' tags' set?

Verified by looking at the details for the Primary storage under the Infrastructure tab. Should the Storage pool also have the same tags as the tagged host for the deployment to succeed? I ran a quick test and added the same tag to the pools too and VM deployment succeeds when the tag on the host matches the tag in the storage pools. If I tag the host and not the pools the deployment fails.
