Maybe devcloud-kvm is just not going to work for me. I uninstall, then reinstalled Fusion and got the same results after changing my networking settings again.
I even tried copying and pasting in default VNET_1 and VNET_8 settings I found on the web somewhere and restarting services and got error messages. I might be better off just creating a KVM host from scratch. Thanks for helping out, though, Marcus!
