Yes, I did. I had questions as well, but none of them got any response. Jira issue is still in Progress, added the patch info as well.
There was no choice but revert, and create a patch. All for getting proper reviews from the feature owners. I know it's double work for me, but tell me what other option I have if I don't get any response in time ! The very last option I have is, marking myself "Ship it" .... -----Original Message----- From: Joe Brockmeier [mailto:j...@zonker.net] Sent: Tuesday, April 09, 2013 11:49 PM To: dev@cloudstack.apache.org Cc: Jessica Tomechak Subject: Re: Documentation How-To On Tue, Apr 9, 2013, at 12:44 PM, Radhika Puthiyetath wrote: > I am not getting enough feedback when I shared the PDF off-list, after > committing the draft files to the Master. Did you call for feedback on dev@ as well? It's fine to send the PDF separately to specific folks who request it, since attachments would be stripped anyway - but I hope we're always asking publicly as well. In this case, I think you might be making more work for yourself by reverting and creating a patch, because other things may change and you'd have to re-do the patch if you get out of sync. If you have a Jira issue that relates to it, maybe leave that open until it's reviewed instead? Just a thought, but I know it's been a hassle in the past having to re-do patches because they've sat for a while. But I am glad to see we're being thorough in getting reviews!
