I am using my "usual" Linux Fedora box with ext4 On "binary distribution package" bookkeeper-server-4.6.2-bin.tar.gz <https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/dev/bookkeeper/bookkeeper/bookkeeper-4.6.2-rc1/bookkeeper-server-4.6.2-bin.tar.gz> permissions are okay. I confirm that on the staged version I can reproduce your issue. I am canceling this vote now, I will be back with a new RC very soon. I will start a new email thread about this problem if I can resolve it locally.
