Hi, There's a small bugfix PR (https://github.com/apache/avro/pull/2969) that would be nice, but if nobody has time to review it we can also keep it for the next release (I have a workaround).
If possible, I'd prefer a release sooner rather than later, but unfortunately I cannot help as I have very limited time outside of work at the moment.
