For example: <fileset id="webapp"> <!-- ... --> </fileset> <fileset id="webapp-webinf-only" extends="webapp" includes="WEB-INF/**"/> The meaning of "extends" is: all attributes, that are not overridden locally, default to those of the "supertype". likewise all nested elements, specified locally, supplement those of the supertype.
