Yes Alexey, I agree with you. I've long thought that it's really strange there are a lot of things you cannot easily do from within the build file like setting the mail logger, or the XML one, etc... which you are forced to do from the command line. I'd rather do these kind of things in a cross-platform Ant specific way. We need a generic mechanism to configure or define custom policies to affect the behavior of Ant's core within the build file or within an build-file like XML file.
