I would rather put into a build file, because it is a property of a
build file to use this feature.

Yes, Peter just mentioned it. And I also support it, FWIW.
I'd prefer to have it built-in to core too, possibly with a
command line switch to explicitly enable it to be fully
BC. I'm not fond of doing it thru PropertyHelper. --DD
