Are there plans to release Ant 1.6.2 soon?

I will be happy to make this release of course.

No concrete plans yet.

I agree with Jan that we've achieved some important fixes in CVS since
the 1.6.1 release. There will always be one more bug to fix ...

There are a few things in bugzilla that look as if we should address
them with the next release. jspc and Tomcat 5 comes to my mind, for
example.

Should we make a list of things we want to see fixed and call it a
freeze for 1.6.2 when done?

There are 2 minor points which I would like to put in 1.6.2 :
- an improvement in the <different/> selector to be able to skip the binary comparison (ie compare only time stamps and sizes). May call the attribute fast (fast="true") would mean no binary compare,

- an improvement to <xmlvalidate/> Adding property element to xmlvalidate (Bugzilla report 23395)

Is this OK ?

Cheers,
Antoine

Stefan
