Mmh, Eclipse will release a milestone 9 on May and final is targeted for
June [1]. And there are additional modifications which could be helpful (new
Xerces, os2-wrapper, sshexec+stderr/out, xslt+classloader, parallel´s
failOnAny, ...).

And if the Eclipse team would be our big beta-tester I would argue for a new
release. Maybe we could coordinate that with the Eclipse team:
30.April  Ant 1.6.2 feature freeze
07.May    Eclipse 3M9
14.May    Ant 1.6.2 beta
03.June   Ant 1.6.2
??.June   Eclipse 3.0

With Eclipse 3.0 it should be easy to change Ant versions [2], but I think
this is a good chance to get the actual Ant version into the broad mass.
