IMHO we should move the whole proposal area there, this would also make our CVS snapshots smaller.
+1 to both these ideas.
In the best traditions of virtuously lazy programmers, Conor was looking for the solution that requires the least amount of work. But although this solution is more short term work, I think in the long term it will be less as we won't have to special case the proposal directory for anything.
