I don't know the status of 32-bit Silverlight on OS X, but we're shipping Widevine support in Firefox 47 (for Windows 7+ and OS X 10.6+). Streaming services will have an easy migration path from Silverlight to their existing Widevine player code.

That said, I don't expect the long-tail of streaming services to complete this transition before the end of 2016, when we already plan to drop NPAPI plugins.
