Yes, I would be fine doing that, as long as it doesn't entire some clunky
workflow
that changes my local repository state (e.g.,

1. Make a new branch B that's a copy of my existing branch
2. Squash all the commits on B
3. Submit B for review
4. ??? Delete B?
