I now mandate that you (and everyone you know) shall only do ethernet trough pigeon carriers. There are great advantages to doing this, and I can recommend a number of first rate pigeon breeders which will sell you pigeons bred for that purpose. I will not discuss with you any notion that pigeons shit onto everything and that cost might rise because pigeons are more expensive to keep than a copper line. Obviously you're a pigeon refusenik and preventer of great progress. My mandate for pigeons is binding will come into effect because I happen to have a controlling stake in all utility companies and come mid 2015 copper lines will be successively cut. Please refrain from disagreeing my mandate in vulgar terms, also I refuse any notion that using pigeons for ethernet by mandate is batshit insane (the'yre pigeons, not bats, please).
It's clear you didn't see it as such, but Nicholas was trying to do you a favor.
You obviously have input you'd like to provide on the topic, and the very purpose of this thread is to gather input. If you show up with well-reasoned arguments in a tone that assumes good faith, there's a real chance for a conversation here where people reach a common understanding and potentially change certain aspects of the outcome.
If all you're willing to do is hurl vitriol from the sidelines, you're not making a difference. Even if you have legitimate and well-thought-out points hidden in the venom, no one is going to hear them. Nicholas, like I, would clearly prefer that the time of people on this mailing list be spent conversing with others who want to work for a better future rather than those who simply want to be creatively abusive. You get to choose which one you are.
