I've been heavily involved with Web MIDI for about 8 months (most of the changes to the API can be traced back to bugs I've filed on it); I even wrote a reference implementation (prollyfill) of it in JS [1]. Having said that, the spec still needs some clarifications in some of the algorithms - but it's in fairly good shape and fairly close to "LC" quality, IMHO. Really just needs some spit-n-polish here and there. I'll probably set a bit of time aside in August to help Chris Wilson and Jussi finish it, as I think it's a pretty neat spec that will enable an interesting range of applications (judging by the amazing range of MIDI applications on iOS). Is there anything in particular you would like to see from a review? What would you expect to see to feel confident that it would make sense to implement it?
